Employee Spotlight: Kristin Olson-Celli

As the Lead Customer Success Manager at Navigating Care, Kristin Olson-Celli, RN, brings a powerful blend of clinical expertise and problem-solving passion to every one of her client interactions. She is dedicated to helping oncology teams use technology in ways that genuinely improve day-to-day workflows — freeing clinicians to focus on the care of their oncology patients. Whether conducting training, troubleshooting complex challenges, or contributing to product development, Kristin is driven by one thing: creating  meaningful, real-world impact in the clinic.

What energizes you most about your role at Navigating Care?

What really motivates me is hearing the feedback from clinics that our product radically improves their everyday workflow, freeing staff to focus more on patient care. Helping oncology practices to operate more efficiently, effectively, with patients at the center, drives everything that I do. I thrive on engaging in problem solving with our Product teams, diving deep into our product for the expansion of features or for development to meet the need of new use cases.

What’s one project or moment at work you’re especially proud of?

There have been quite a few!! Recently, one stood out. This particular client went live with the full suite of Navigating Care solutions and after the implementation, their leadership called out that it was the best implementation they’ve ever gone through! They now hold NC as the gold standard to evaluate all other implementations. I am proud of Navigating Care’s implementation process and the contributions I make in the success of clients utilizing the NC platform.

What makes Navigating Care a special place to work, in your opinion?

Since day one I have always felt the camaraderie and support between teams, which makes for a positive and trusting workplace. I love the dedication the company has committed to make the oncology journey better for patients and clinicians.

How does your work connect to our mission of improving the cancer care experience?

The CSM Implementation team provides clinicians with workflows that make their work day more efficient and more patient focused which directly aligns with the mission of Navigating Care. As an oncology nurse, my contact with the client during implementation is not just to teach them how to use the platform and to establish the client relationship, but also to embrace different workflows. The optimization of clinical workflow in combination with our software provides a powerful framework to allow nurses and clinical staff to function at the top of their licensure or their primary role. When that happens, patients notice the change as they feel the clinic staff are more available to their needs.

What’s been the most rewarding challenge you’ve tackled here so far?

One of the biggest and most rewarding challenges was successfully implementing seven different clients on different solutions within a three month time period. Traveling the entire country, from East to West and North to South, to provide onsite clinical Go Live support and ensuring each practice was supported effectively, was quite a feat!

What’s a lesson you’ve learned in your career that you still carry with you?

Be patient, think things through, and listen.

What’s a fun or surprising fact about you most people don’t know?

I am an avid fan of horror films and series. This may not be surprising, since Halloween is my favorite holiday!

If you could instantly master a new skill, what would it be?

Golfing. I try my best, but I need a lot of work.
