TV Characters With Breast Cancer Role

I'm Mary Smith, and I'm a healthcare professional

Hello all!
“join our loop” is a blog community for breast cancer and the Aug 5th post was about a conversation with Kim Catrall. You don’t need to be a fan of the show “Sex in the City” to find this post interesting. It speaks more to the non-realistic aspects the character portrayed as a women with breast cancer, and questioning the screenwriters point of view. Cancer seems to be showing up in sitcoms more often these days. Its spread into a lighter, more entertaining venue, as compared to the past drama flicks which required a box of tissue to watch.

By the way, this week I started a brand new group for everyone to join regardless of cancer type or role. Its an open topic format to discuss anything that’s on your mind. Click the link below to visit the Open Chat Community, and then join us! Bring a little sunshine into your day!
