Recently listened to a 3 hour symposium put on by Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center in Seattle WA. They spoke about some promising practices regarding immunotherapy. Here is the link https://fredhutch.hosted.panopto.com/Panopto/Pages/Viewer.aspx?id=ded6ef13-907c-4fd7-b95c-ad57000aced3 . I was wondering if anyone here had any additional information, pro or con regarding immunotherapy for prostate cancer? In short, what I got from the symposium is the treatment involves making radiation or antibody charged T cells that are designed to target prostate cancer cells, invade and kill them. Trials on rats got great results. If you choose to watch the symposium, the part on immunotherapy is towards the end of the symposium (last two speakers) if you wanted to fast forward past the early speakers. Thanks!
