You might try swishing often with a mixture of water and baking soda or salt. I would suggest eating soft foods to limit the amount of mouth pain. Puree foods if you need to. Avoid foods that are too hot or too cold. As for the anal pain, I found soaking in the tub in lukewarm water several times a day soothing.
